Million Viewer Facebook Live Stream Lasts Over An Hour In Prison Cell Before CO Realizes What’s Happening

For Shell Shocker’s more colorful take on this story click here to read it on TB Daily News.

A prisoner snuck a cell phone into an unidentified jail and did a Facebook Live stream that lasted over an hour and 15 minutes.

By the time it had ended there were over a million views, but sadly it ended when a CO burst into the cell after likely being contacted by someone on the outside that his jail had turned into the realest episode of Real World ever. This was the prisoner hosting the show:

The live stream has since been pulled down, but the prisoner had been posting for weeks prior to that, so it will likely be put back up within a few days. According to commenters this is pretty easy to do actually. You just have to sneak it through the laundry room and have a good data plan. Most of the million viewers were female, and several of them professed their love and admiration for these Facebook famous quasi-celebrities.

One of them was even eating takeout food.

Jail kind of looks like fun. It would probably be better with women though.

Just sayin.

No word on what state this was filmed in, although context clues lead us to believe it’s somewhere on the east coast, or possibly the midwest. Would love to hear from some CO’s about whether or not stuff like this happens very often and what jails do to prevent it.
